Heidi Gaspar is a Psychologist and Creative Arts Therapist, and the founder of Heart Expression Psychology. She brings over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across the lifespan. Heidi is known for her warm, compassionate, and engaging approach, creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they navigate emotional, developmental, and life challenges.

Heidi works from an Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) framework, helping clients make sense of their emotional world, strengthen relationships, and respond to stress, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions in more adaptive ways. EFT is grounded in the understanding that emotions are central to our experience. When we can safely access, process, and transform our emotions, we are better able to regulate ourselves, connect with others, and move forward with clarity and confidence. Through this process, clients often experience greater resilience, improved well-being, and a deeper sense of authenticity and fulfilment.

Her work is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and strengths-based. Heidi has an interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, as well as clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and emotional overwhelm. She also works closely with parents and families, supporting them to better understand children’s emotional needs and build connection-based, practical strategies for everyday life.
Heidi values creating a respectful and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, develop self-awareness, and build meaningful, sustainable change.

In addition to therapy, Heidi provides assessments, reports, and support for NDIS participants, working collaboratively with families, schools, and other health professionals to achieve functional and meaningful outcomes.
