Dr Izaak Lim is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with a specialist focus on relational health in the perinatal and early childhood period. He works with families in the early years, particularly where parental mental illness, intergenerational trauma, or other difficulties in the transition to parenthood are affecting family relationships and child wellbeing.

​

He primarily offers medium- to long-term psychotherapy, with particular expertise in family and couples therapy, grounded in developmental, attachment-based and family systems perspectives. Where clinically indicated, he integrates diagnostic assessment and medication management within ongoing therapeutic care.
